FAQ's

Who are We?

121 Care is a family owned agency with extensive experience and knowledge of providing a high level of care and support in and around the local areas. We were established in 2014 to initially cover the shortfall of support primarily in the more rural areas of the local community, however we quickly recognised that there was a greater need for care throughout the whole of West Cumbria. We believe we are the solution of choice for individuals whose wish it is to remain in their familiar home environment rather than enter residential care.

Each package is assessed based on the person centred needs, wishes and abilities of the individual and their representatives. We will always discuss requirements and costs during the assessment and can also provide advice on funding through local authorities which may also be available to assist with the cost of our service. Individuals can pay for their care by bank transfer, cheque or cash, and our invoices are always raised 4-weekly in arrears and sent either by post or by email.

How do I arrange care?

We have an experienced and professional team working in the office who will be happy to take any calls and answer any questions, concerns or queries individuals may have regarding our services and what we can offer. We will arrange for a senior member of our agency to visit each individual and their family/friends in their home, hospital or respite environment to discuss their needs and requirements without any pressure or commitment. Each individual will have their own person centred care plan completed based on their needs and abilities. If our team feel that you could be supported further with funding or equipment we will also direct you to the appropriate services.
