We understand that life can be unpredictable and as a result we operate an adaptable approach to providing care and support at short notice to accommodate respite or emergency short term care. This attitude to providing support to individuals can be used as a substitute to residential care, offering the individual the opportunity to remain at home surrounded by familiar items in an environment where they feel safe. This option can be chosen by those recovering from illness, an accident, or as respite for them or a family member.
Our service can be something as simple as a pop in ‘peace of mind’ or companionship visit to full 24-hour level of care and support, including sleeping or waking nights. As with all other aspects of our service this is person centred and catered around the needs of each individual and members of their family.
Our staff will provide an individual with a caring and compassionate level of support just like they would receive from those closest to them. Our main aim, where appropriate, is to enable someone to improve slowly with time, care and encouragement, while maintaining their independence at all times. Our service can also be used to provide a level of respite to them, their family members or carers.
