We know how worrying and stressful it can be when an individual and their family members are living with dementia, as a result of this we provide a service to ensure that they do not have to cope on their own. We understand it is important that a person living with dementia receives care and support in the comfort and safety of their home environment where they feel safe and have familiar, recognisable and memorable items around them.
Our staff are trained to provide a professional, comprehensive level of care, support and guidance to ensure that an individual’s routine, needs and abilities are taken into account and respected at all times. We can also offer advice on managing a number of behaviours associated with Dementia to family members and carers. We strive to ensure that the staff are well matched to the individuals, whilst maintaining continuity at all times, to be confident that their quality of life and health outcomes are preserved and improved as much as possible. Our staff are trained to use best practice techniques to provide reassurance, minimise anxiety and encourage calm whilst providing gentle encouragement and compassionate care.
